Do you want to know what your job is worth?

The 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey is now open. The 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey has been designed to collect data on salary levels across the sport, fitness and aquatic sector. Our intention is to repeat the Salary Survey annually to determine whether there are any changes and if so, the quantum of these shifts.

One of the most complex issues we faced when developing the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey questions related to "descriptors" or Job/Position titles. Sportspeople recognises there are many Job Titles in sport, fitness and aquatic and these are not always aligned with the specific duties. Using the jobs listed at the Sportspeople Jobs Market for the past twelve months alone, we reduced nearly 1,000 Job Titles to a smaller, more general list for use in the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey.

How to complete the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey

While it is possible your specific Job Title may not appear on the list, please select the one that best matches your current Job Title.

For many roles we recognise there are different levels of seniority and responsibility. Accordingly and in an effort to make things simple, we have included two levels in the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey. For example, you may work in the area of "Administration" in a support role such as "Officer" or "Coordinator" or maybe in a senior "Manager" or "Executive" level.

For those who can't find a Job Title that fits, we've added an "Other" option for you. Most of you, though, should be able to select a title from the list supplied.

The other elements of the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey are fairly straight forward, however if at any time you need clarification please call Sportspeople on FREECALL 1800 634 388 (Australia) or 0800 634 388 (New Zealand).

Consistent with all previous surveys, all responses to the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey are confidential and we do not collect any information that will identify you.

The results will be published at the Sportspeople website late 2010. Click here to complete the 2010 Sportspeople Salary Survey now.
