Warringah Council develops an Outdoor Training Policy

The Warringah Council Local Government area stretches from Manly Lagoon in the south to Narrabeen Lakes in the north and Duffys Forest and Roseville Bridge in the west.

Following extensive consultation, Warringah Council has developed a Policy for the Use of Space by Commercial Fitness Groups and Personal Trainers. This came into affect on 1 July 2010.

This Policy aims to –

support a guaranteed standard of training or membership of Fitness Australiaprovide equity of access for all userslessen the impact on adjoining land ownersenable the fees obtained from training sessions to be used in the restoration of Council's reserves.
