How to Register as an Exercise Professional
To register for the first time, please complete the following 2 steps:
Step 1
Register and make payment online; this should only take about 5 minutes to complete. After you have completed this procedure, please check your emails and follow step 2 below. Alternatively, you can download and print the Exercise Professional registration application form and return it to Fitness Australia.
Step 2
Send all your supporting documentation to Fitness Australia, including a transcript or results/list of competencies, and your Australian First Aid and CPR. Your registration documents can be emailed, mailed or faxed to our office.

Registration fee
Registration fee of $220 inc GST. Your registration fee is made up of:
- Registration investment: $187 inc GST for two (2) years registration, and;
- Industry Innovation Fund Contribution: $33 inc GST.
As soon as Fitness Australia receives the above supporting documentation, please allow 10 working days for processing your application and receiving your Registration welcome pack.
Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a registration welcome pack – registration certificate, registration patch, identification card, tax invoice and will be listed in the Exercise Professional Directory on the Fitness Australia website!
