Fitness Australia signs high performance principal partner

Australian compression brand Performax is Fitness Australia's first ever principal partner, signing a six-figure three year agreement this month. TNF Group Pty Ltd developed the Australian-owned compression label as part of its suite of performance brands including Champion, Leluu and Arena swimwear. Fitness Australia Registered Exercise Professionals (REPs) and registered business operators will benefit from access to a quality apparel service.

“Fitness Australia is one of our most professional National industry associations. We are excited about partnering Performax with such a quality organisation,” says TNF Group Managing Director Guy Tuthill.

“We see great value in supporting the growth of the Fitness Australia brand through our commercial and retail channels and are excited about exposing the fitness industry to our quality Performax range.”

Performax compression garments increase circulation and oxygen flow to muscles, providing maximum support and assisting in recovery time. Combining leading technology with moulded lightweight fabrications and a moisture management system Performax increases athlete’s performance at any level. Performax compression garments reduce soreness, muscle fatigue and have a four way stretch which focuses on deep muscle support, whilst also providing a flattering fit with strategic waistbands and design lines.

In the competitive compression garment segment Performax continues to experience strong retail sales due to its use of high quality fabrics at affordable price points. “First and foremost we partnered with this leading Australian company to provide a quality apparel service to our professional and business clients,” says Fitness Australia’s Robert Barnes.

“The bonus will be a longer term partnership which will support growing recognition of the Fitness Australia brand among consumers who are looking for quality exercise services.”

Registered exercise professionals and registered businesses will be able to order customised Fitness Australia branded apparel at industry prices by downloading the special order form direct from the Fitness Australia website. Fitness Australia’s relationship managers in each State/Territory will also be able to provide industry support to members and REPs looking to access Performax apparel.

Partnering with TNF Group will provide fitness centres and health clubs the opportunity to either create their own personalised uniforms or stock apparel for sale to members and visitors, creating diversified revenue opportunities.
