Sportspeople website goes mobile
People looking for work in sport, fitness and aquatics can now access the Sportspeople Job Market direct from their mobile device, with the launch of an enhanced service for mobile users. The new operating platform for the Sportspeople Jobs Market detects, optimises and then renders the website on a mobile device. Users have the option to view the new mobile site or the full desktop version direct on their mobile.
Sportspeople's General Manager, Angelique Lele believes the new service will be popular with people working in sport, fitness and aquatics as they are often on the move but want to keep up to date with job opportunities.
"The mobile service allows job seekers to have full access to the Sportspeople Jobs Market, listing all jobs, and providing a search by location, classification or keyword. Users can view a summary list, short description or full description and email the job link to themselves or a friend for later reference."
"Employers advertising at the Sportspeople Jobs Market don't miss out either as they'll receive the added benefit of the Sportspeople mobile site when listing with us. All jobs will appear at the Sportspeople mobile site, while Featured Jobs and Hot Jobs will be displayed as premium listings including bold type face and employer logo."
"The mobile service is the one of the final pieces of the website initiatives we identified back in 2006.
