How to Submit a Program for approval
For a program to be eligible for CECs, you must apply for approval through Fitness Australia. Programs can be submitted by completing the application form and supplying relevant documentation. All applications must be submitted electronically and can be sent via a USB Disk, CD or cloud system such as DropBox. If the files being submitted are not too large, then they can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are two types of submissions from which to select:
- Approved Program - the application is reviewed by an individual assessor and awarded approval for a period of two years during which the program may be delivered as often as the provider chooses. If the program continues to run after the initial two year period, it must be submitted for renewal provided that no changes have been made to the program content and delivery. If there are changes made to the program content please submit this as a new program.
- One-Off Event – this type of application suits those running forums or events only once and who may have a number of presenters organised. Date/s must be given at the time of the application for CECs to be awarded. If the event is to be held again, a new application must be submitted.
